St. Rose of Lima

On the feast of St. Rose of Lima, I thought I'd share one of the first mixed media portrait paintings I did years ago. I remember being so excited when she sold, and so happy that she went to a home where she was loved and honored. A friend posted about the feast day today. She recently gave birth to her first child, whose middle name is Rose. Another friend chimed in the same. And our granddaughter Ellie's middle name is Rose. Love all these little connections.
