Van Gogh Immersion Experience

 

My dear friend, Jen, and I were treated to the most amazing event  for our birthdays. Our husbands gifted us with an evening to dinner and the Beyond  Van Gogh: The Immersion Experience at the Providence Convention Center.  It was everything we hoped it would be and even more than we expected.  The combination of Van Gogh's art and words as written throughout the years to his brother, Theo. All mingled with perfect musical selections.  Emotional. All encompassing. Total immersion of the senses in this pool of tragic genius.  We both hope this is our first of many such art outings. Van Gogh was the perfect beginning. Love of art for the sake of art.
